Terrell Owens was oddly reserved following the Cowboys’ shameful effort against the Rams last Sunday. Usually, a three-interception performance from the quarterback, coupled with only two T.O. catches for 31 yards would result in a predictable post-game tirade, perhaps even some blubbering. But Owens was surprisingly lucid after the debaclement.
Yesterday, Owens, hosting his weekly radio show, had BFF and Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on to break the news that he will miss this week’s game against the Buccaneers. Which means: more Brad Johnson for everybody! “Brad is going to go this week unless something happens that I don’t foresee,” Romo said. “It will be very difficult to change. Right now, we’ve got to get two wins going into the bye and go from there.” And by “don’t foresee,” I can only assume Romo means “Jerry Jones hooks me up with one of his surgeons/magicians/witch doctors and gives me a new pinky in the next few days.” Barring that, Romo probably won’t be back on the field until Nov. 16, when the Cowboys travel to Washington to host the Redskins.Continue Reading
