STAR quarterback Tony Romo will make a welcome return from injury tonight as the slumping Dallas Cowboys take on Washington Redskins ina key battle in the NFL's tough NFC East Division.
Since Romo broke the little finger on his throwing hand last month, the Cowboys have lost two of their last three. Over the past six weeks they have dropped four games and gone from undefeated division leaders to third place in the NFC East at 5-4.
Stand-in quarterbacks Brad Johnson and Brooks Bollinger failed to lead Dallas to more than 14 points in any of their three games at thehelm.
Romo is expected to get the offence back on track and insists: "Our team has the ability to put together a great second-half run, starting this week."
TV times - Sky Sports 3, tonight from 6pm: Green Bay v Chicago, Pittsburgh v San Diego, Washington v Dallas.
